Terms Of Use & Purchase Agreement
I have tried to balance up the contents and appearance of the website in order that is helpful and informative but also still be honest and enjoyable to use. If I have missed anything that you think should be there or is not as clear as it should be please let me know using the contact form below.
I feel like Microsoft writing that last sentence. We all know they send their software out into the world for their buyers to thoroughly test it and find the faults then spend their time upgrading the software based on what customers say. Bill Gates then charges them for the privilege of getting the next edition because the original did not work as well as it should have. I don’t want to do that but I have to admit I am still a human being and I am willing to learn and improve on any work through any constructive feedback from people like you.
The following terms of service are designed for people using this website. I would ask that you read them because simply by reading the rest of the website you will be automatically agreeing to them. If you are not happy with the terms and conditions of use I would ask that you let me know the reason. I believe myself to be a fair and ethically person of good standing in my local community and online and want to continue to keep that reputation. If you think anything is unfair to you I want to know so we can come to a better relationship. It may just mean I need to clarify what the words mean in a different way and interpretation of cultures and grammar gives it a different meaning.
However, I would add that continuing to use this website owned by Aberdeen Monitor Ltd (owned solely by myself and my wife) means that you are automatically accepting the terms and conditions of use.
We reserve the right to make modifications to this policy, or any portion of the website that we deem necessary, at any time. We suggest you continue to check these terms to see what those change have been made, if any. We will publish on the bottom of the page a date when it was amended so you can quickly see what changes, if any, have been made since your last visit.
Restrictions On Use Of Online Materials
As part of our own ethical standing we will not knowingly steal images, trade names, illustrations audio or video clips or any other copyright materials. We will from time to time use materials from other people on our website but only with their permission or to enable us to give a open review of their products. If we can’t use any of their material to tell you about their products we would be acting with one hand tied behind our backs and you would be the person losing out.
In the same way we will have our own copyright materials on this website and others I operate. We do not allow the use of the material for commercial gain without our permission. Neither do we allow use of our property by anyone who is trying to say it is their won work or that they are associated with us in some way without permission. You can contact me using the form below to enquire about the copyright ownership and or your use of them. But please wait for a prompt response before making use of any material which may be in our copyright.
