Rainy Day Back Pain in Seattle

When you live in the Seattle area, rain is just part of the territory. If you don’t like rain, it’s time to go back to where you came from! Just kidding around, of course. I wasn’t used to the rain when I first moved here, but I have embraced it because I do live here after all.

With so much water dropping across our city, you’re bound to get a puddle or two… or three… or four… you get the idea. Puddles create opportunities for me to slip, fall, and hurt my back. After dealing with back pain in the past, I visited a seattle chiropractor.

They did a great job, got me back on my feet and back to enjoying all of the normal crazy things I like to do during my week. I was able to start exercising again and playing soccer on the weekends. I don’t even worry about slide tackling someone.

I used to worry that if I didn’t take it easy, that I could have a set back. One thing I’ve totally learned, though, is that you have to just go for it. What’s the point of working on your health and taking care of yourself if you can’t enjoy it?
