Internet Selling Courses That Will Have You Making Money Online Today.

Don’t be silly. Who is going to be so stupid as to believe that is possible? I didn’t but now I do!

Having been online for some six or seven years and seen time and time again these big name “gurus” having tons of people promoting their “latest absolutely the last training course you will ever need”.

Strangely some months later they are back again selling version 2.0 which promises even more success if you will now buy their “ultimate internet training course“. Which incidentally costs you almost twice as much as the first one. What happens after you have bought the ultimate internet sales training course? What words will they use next? What magic word comes after “ultimate”?

That in my opinion is the problem about buying internet selling courses.

How did I reach that conclusion about making money online? Simple! I spent several thousands — money I did not have to spare — just buying training course after internet training course and finding none of them worked for me as each of the magic gurus were keeping back some of their best secret methods. Some of them said this is the way. The next guru I saw said the very opposite works best.

Eventually I gave up buying those ultra expensive internet training courses and started checking to see what works in the real world long term.

Some of this research relied on my own experience as Chief Executive Officer of a large organisation working to support and develop people who were struggling with life. I also had a masters in training and development strategy so was able to analyze how people learned new and difficult tasks.

The notes I made included the following points:-

• There is a need to work with a mentor. Some one who has walked the path in the real world not just wrote courses on how other people should do it. Someone who is still walking that same path. Someone who is accessible to answer the questions that are left unsaid.
• Someone who will be in touch on a regular basis to show us each step one at a time. That means we are kept motivated. After all what do you say to someone every week when they ask how far have we have got in the past week! How’s that for keeping your motivation high enough to succeed beyond even what you dared to think in your wildest dreams?

But wait several people have already promised me all that. But then it turned out to a teacher from another company who had been sub-contracted in to “coach”. They could only take you as far as the page they were reading at the time and did not necessarily know what was going to be in the next chapter of their handbook.

Why pay huge amounts to learn from the organ-grinder “guru” and then be fobbed off with one of their monkeys?

• I also wanted to see visually how they did it not just be told what to do. Give me an understanding of what is going on and I can do it successfully. Just tell me to do something that I don’t understand and I could easily get lost. You know what I mean — don’t you?
• Team work is important to me. Other people around I can bounce my ideas off. Not even The Lone Ranger did everything solely on his own. He had his friend Tonto as a partner in everything he did. Isn’t it good to know you are part of the same group all sharing success and encouragement as we grow together.
• Cultivate these trusty friends during the training course then work together on joint venture projects afterward. Make even more money by working as a partnership on the bigger projects.
• Even at the end of the training course I wanted someone who would be looking to keep the relationship going longer to help steer me towards sources of money I had not thought about. Maybe even some sort of partnership whereby he or she would do some research on making money online opportunities and then pass them to me.
• Most of all I wanted someone who came across as another human being who I could relate with. Without that I would have found it more difficult to work with the person.

Okay, even I thought I was asking the impossible. But what did I have to lose by trying to get MY needs met rather than the guru who just wanted MY money?

There is a old parable (someone tell me who first said it please) that say when the need and the wanting is there the teacher will appear almost out of nowhere.

Well that proved true for me as well.

I want to tell you about him but what can I say? He met all my criteria above in full and more. For example he has already told me some special niches he will plug me into which will be profitable. Just have a look at how he helped create a new mailing list of over one thousand people (and it is still growing daily) attached to a wedding planning site overnight. Another niche now has over 10,000 sign ups and that has only been open a week. Just think about how valuable that is going to be.

I already have a website for a local business which is number one of page one of Google and Yahoo and number four on page one of Bing for the four most competitive terms and I know I can make the same success story with a number of other businesses here in my home city.
